Beacon Hill Little League will once again be hosting a tournament for Majors Baseball players (ages 10-12) over the Victoria Day weekend.

Tournament will run from May 18 – 21, 2018 in Victoria, BC.
Games will be played at Hollywood and Pemberton Parks.
Cost will be $25 per player and each team must supply a dozen game balls.

This is a house level tournament. Teams from as far away as Edmonton have participated in past years.

Does your Beacon Hill Little League player turn 13 this year? No problem!

In 2018, Little League will be available in Victoria for players aged 13 to 16.

That’s right! BC Little League District 7, of which Beacon Hill Little League is a member, will be fielding some Intermediate, Junior, and Senior “Victoria Little League” teams for children up to 16 years old. We will be interlocking with teams from the lower mainland.

Now your child can continue to enjoy all the advantages of Little League (low registration fees, equal playing time, at least two practices and at least one game per week, and the chance to advance to the Provincial, Canadian, or World Championships) beyond age 12!

For more information, download the flyer (PDF) or visit the BC District 7 site .

Intermediate players are invited to join us for a winter baseball clinic in preparation for the spring season:

The document Vic_Capitals_Poster_2018_v2.pdf was attached to this post.

These fun sessions are held indoors at Recreation Oak Bay on Friday afternoons.  They are open to all Beacon Hill players who will be aged 8 and up next season.
The purpose of these sessions is to provide additional touches of the ball and to allow our players to practice their catching, throwing and hitting skills during the off-season.   These clinics also provide a great opportunity for parents interested in coaching to learn to teach some baseball fundamentals.

The coaches of the Friday Fall Clinics are Gus Niketas (VP Baseball), volunteer Little League coaches and returning Beacon Hill players.
Parent helpers are welcome and encouraged.
